Salesforce Activity Sync
We have made updates to our existing Salesforce Integration to now allow you to sync, visualize and manipulate user activity data in Salesforce. Allow Sales, CX and Support to see which accounts or companies are active in your community, and leverage community data to better understand customer needs, areas of interest and level of engagement.
For each contact and/or company see:
- Registrations
- Discussions and comments added
- Ideas added and upvoted
- Questions asked and answered
- Groups joined
- Event RSVPs
Please contact your CSM to have the Improved Salesforce Integration set up on your community.

Productboard Integration
Productboard is one of the most popular product-management tools on the market. It helps product managers collect ideas and feedback to understand what customers need, prioritize what to build next, and rally everyone around the roadmap.
We've added a new integration allowing customers to connect Vanilla to Productboard and log:
- Ideas added
- Idea votes
- Idea insights
This integration allows product teams to leverage the power of community to log insights and further calculate user impact scores to make customer-driven roadmap decisions.
LearnUpon Zapier Template
LearnUpon is a powerful and easy to use Learning Management System designed to streamline and centralize learning, and deliver high-impact training.
This week we have added a new Zapier template for Vanilla and LearnUpon users that will allow you to automate the process of awarding badges to learners when they complete an enrollment in LearnUpon, taking the manual hassle out of recognizing users. Try it out.
Requirements:
- Badges add-on is enabled on Vanilla
- Custom badges for learners will need to be created on Vanilla before this template can be configured. Learn more about creating badges.
- Learners must be members of your community to earn a badge
- Community members must be registered to the community using the same email address used in LearnUpon to receive the badge
Rybbon Zapier Template
Rybbon is is a digital gifting platform made for marketers and researchers, and an all-in-one solution for sending, tracking, and managing digital rewards programs.
We have added a new Zapier template that will update user points in Rybbon when new points are earned in Vanilla either by answering questions, earning badges or through Reactions. This allows you to capture all user points without slowing down for manual updates. Try it out.
Option to Include Emails in Webhook Deliveries
We have added a new optional configuration setting for Webhooks allowing you to enable emails in webhook deliveries. This can allow you to more easily configure integrations that may require an email address.
