Events Notifications
Introducing notifications for Events in Higher Logic Vanilla:
Event Notifications
- Pop Up and Email Notifications: Be notified as soon as a new event is created in categories or groups you follow or subscribe to all events you have access to.
- RSVP Alerts: Receive immediate confirmation emails when you RSVP to an event, complete with ICS attachments for easy calendar integration.
- Event Reminders: Opt in to get reminders 24 hours before an event.
- Update Notifications: Stay informed with updates whenever an event is modified or deleted (event managers will be prompted on edit to send an update or not, depending on if it’s a small typo or important changes.
This feature helps community managers promote events more effectively and ensures members never miss important events. Our new email notifications look and feel like your existing email settings, providing a consistent look and feel:
New Automation Rule Action
We’ve added another action to our Automation Rules, currently in beta: the ability to invite someone to a specific group based on:
- Email Domain
- Specific Profile Fields
- Time since registration
Improved Zapier Trigger: Q&A Status Updates
We’ve added Q&A status updates to our “Discussion Status Updated” Zapier trigger so that you can build workflows based on Q&A discussion status:
