Release 2022.010

Schedule

Release 2022.010 will be deployed:

To staging sites: Tuesday, May 17th
To production sites: Monday, May 23rd
To Enterprise client sites: Monday, May 30th

Login/Registration Enhancements

Increased default password length to 12 characters
Added configurable minimum password & sessions timeout length
Added Recaptcha support to password reset
Added try-limits to login workflow
Added clearing of sessions when passwords are reset

These changes will apply to communities using Basic or Approval registration. If you are using SSO as your registration method, your login and registration will be handled by your IDP, and so these will not affect you.

Updated Vanilla Logo

We have updated our logo in the app as well as our favicons with our integrations to further celebrate our merge with Higher Logic since our acquisition in May 2021. You will now see our Higher Logic Vanilla logo appear in the top left corner of your Dashboard as well as the bottom left corner of new sites.
