Scoped Ideation Statuses
Ideation workflows are now more flexible and easier to manage across complex communities. Admins can scope ideation statuses to specific categories and subcommunities instead of maintaining one global list:
This allows different areas of the community to support distinct idea pipelines—whether across products, regions, or teams—while keeping experiences relevant for members. Defaults can be assigned more precisely, and category inheritance flows to subcategories to reduce manual setup.
Text Editor Widget
Layout Editor now includes a Rich Text Editor widget, making it easy to add formatted content to pages without custom HTML:
Admins and moderators can create polished pages using headings, links, images, buttons, and embeds directly within the layout workflow. This makes it much simpler to build onboarding content, help pages, and promotional experiences using native tools.
Automation Rules: Date Field Reached Trigger for Custom Post Types
Automation Rules now support a new Date Field Reached trigger under Post Management that you can use with Custom Post Types
Admins can automate actions—such as closing or moving posts—based on a custom date field in a custom post type. This reduces manual work and helps ensure content stays aligned with timelines for programs, events, or structured workflows.
To use this feature, you need to first create a Custom Post Type with a date based field.
AI Processing Preferences
New AI processing preferences give users more visibility and control over how their content is used by AI features.
Users can manage these settings in Account & Privacy, with options tailored to enabled AI features. This helps communities support transparency, build trust, and meet evolving privacy expectations while adopting AI capabilities.
