We have launched out new analytics experience: Analytics Dashboard Beta.

We have launched a new UI as well as new chart options and analytics endpoints. Find more information on our new default charts, available custom dashboards and how to enable this new analytics experience from the Vanilla Labs page below.

Bulk Merge

Bulk Merge has been restored to our Foundation theme discussion lists. Simply select the posts through the checkboxes which appear to the left of each post title, select the Merge action from the bottom left corner and choose the Discussion you would like to move your content to or confirm the Merge. You will have the option to Leave a redirect link from the old discussions. This will have the merged discussion threads remain in the discussion list and will redirect to the merged discussion when clicked on.

Bulk Close (API)

You can now bulk close discussions through our API. We will be adding this to our UI in a coming release. You can find the Close API endpoint in our API v2 Reference & Endpoints.

Improvements

Notifications from Ignored Users

We have made an update to prevent email and popup notifications from being triggered based on activity made by a user whom you have ignored.

Remove the “Replies” addon

With our 2021.022 release we have removed our legacy Replies addon. This addon had been developed years ago as part of our original Q&A plugin however it has not been used or maintained for some time. We had already deprecated the addon as no sites were using it and we have now removed it from our code.
