Hybrid Event Registration
Events now support Online, In Person, and Hybrid registration types, giving community managers more flexibility to represent how an event will be delivered.
For Hybrid events, members can explicitly choose whether they will attend virtually or in person. Admins can optionally configure separate capacity limits for each attendance type, and members can see the remaining availability before registering.
Admins can also add information that is visible only to registered attendees and export Virtual and In-Person attendee lists separately via new Participant Only Details area that only reveals itself to regular members once someone has registered (admins will always see all details)
Existing events will continue to work as they do today, and Zoom remains compatible with Online events and the Virtual portion of Hybrid events. Waitlisting is not included in this release.

Upcoming Events in Email Digest
Admins can now include an Upcoming Events section in Email Digests, helping members discover events without needing to actively browse the Events page.
Admins can configure the digest to include up to 20 upcoming events and choose whether event images appear. Event selection respects each recipient’s permissions, prioritizes events from categories they follow, and supplements the digest with other visible root-level or category events when needed.
Event listings can include the event name, date and time, location type, and a link to the Vanilla event page. The section supports Virtual, In-Person, and Hybrid event details.
If the Email Digest is configured to include images but no image has been added to a given event it will render like this:
If you do include an image it will render like this:
Group events are not included in this version. The RSVP Now call to action opens the event page and does not automatically register the member.
General Accessibility Improvements
This release includes general accessibility improvements across navigation, forms, labels, and assistive-technology support. These updates make common community and administrative experiences easier to navigate and understand, while continuing our ongoing accessibility work.
