Improved Flows for RSVPing to Events in Groups
Our new update improves how users RSVP to events in public groups. If they're not already group members, they can now join and RSVP with a single click!
Logged in Users viewing events in public groups they haven't joined will now see a "Join Group and RSVP" button, guiding them to join the group and RSVP for the event. Clicking the button prompts a modal to confirm their choice. If they confirm, they join the group and RSVP. If they cancel, nothing changes.
For Guest Users: If users aren't logged in, they will be prompted to log in or register. Afterward, they automatically join the group and RSVP in one step.
New Look:
Visual Update to Options Menu
Release 009 contains a subtle yet impactful enhancement to our options menu. The options menu (often referred to as the “meatball menu”) now boasts a friendly circular border. This seemingly small tweak has a big impact:
Improved Noticeability: The encircling halo draws users’ attention, making it easier for them to spot and interact with the menu.
Enhanced Accessibility: Especially for our low vision users, this change ensures better visibility and a more intuitive experience.
Ability to use CTA Widget without button
Another small improvement in this release is the option to use the Call to Action (CTA) Widget without using the button functionality. This will allow community managers to add custom content such as announcements, calls to action, and images to their communities without HTML.
