Release 2025.007 will be released:
- To staging sites the week of April 21st
- To production sites the week of April 28th
Update: While this release was deployed to staging and production as scheduled, the deployment to Enterprise sites was delayed due to a UX issue. Those updates have now been merged with Releases 2025.008 and 2025.009 and will be deployed to Enterprise client sites the week of June 2nd.
New Features
🔗 Permission-Gating Links in Title Bars and Quick Links
You now have more control over who sees what! We've enhanced the Links Manager used in Title Bars and the Quick Links widget to support permission-based visibility.
When editing a link, you can now:
- Set a custom label
- Define the destination URL
- Choose which user roles or permissions can view the link
This means you can tailor navigation experiences based on audience, whether it's showing different resources to guests vs. logged-in users, or keeping staff links hidden from general members.
You’ll find these options directly in the link editor, available wherever navigation links are managed.
🧩 TitleBar Widget for Layout Editor
The TitleBar is now available to edit in Layout Editor, giving you the ability to customize title bars per layout. This works alongside your default title bar configuration in the Style Guide, which still applies automatically across your community, but now you have the option to override it where needed.
This is especially useful if:
- You want different navigation links for your community vs. your knowledge base
- You’d like separate menus for staff-only categories vs. customer-facing ones
- You need unique headers on specific pages or sections
With the TitleBar widget, it’s easier than ever to tailor the experience to your audience and use case
