Salesforce Addon: Custom Lookup & Updated Settings UI
This release enhances the Salesforce addon with greater control over how Vanilla syncs users to Salesforce Contacts — along with a refreshed settings interface.
🔍 Custom Contact Lookup
- Configure one or more Salesforce fields for contact matching
- Optional “Active contacts only” filter
- Email fallback disabled when custom lookup is enabled
🛑 Contact Creation Control
- New “Do Not Create Contact” mode
- Prevents automatic contact creation if no match is found
🎨 Updated Settings Experience
The Salesforce settings UI has been modernized and reorganized, including:
- Clear separation of Activity Sync, Connection, and Contact Settings
- Dedicated Contact Lookup configuration panel
- Improved layout aligned with other integrations
Note: Global Login must be enabled for contact lookup settings to take effect.
These updates provide more precise control for organizations with complex or regulated Salesforce environments.
