The No Index addon allows admins, moderators, and curators to mark a discussion as noindex/noarchive.
- This forces Higher Logic Vanilla to not index a particular discussion, meaning it will be hidden from the prying eyes of search engines and bots. This is a great way to make specific content "invisible" from outside your Vanilla community.
Enable the addon
No Index must be enabled by Vanilla staff. Contact Vanilla Support to have it enabled.
Flag a discussion
- Navigate to a discussion of any type (questions, ideas, polls, etc.).
- Click the ellipsis menu and select Add NoIndex.
Now, the discussion is flagged with the following visual indicator:
Unflag a discussion
You can reverse this action at any time by selecting Remove Noindex from the ellipsis menu.
