The hub has the ability to synchronize/push some configuration/data to each of its' nodes.

- Categories / Subcommunities
- Badges
- Roles
- Posting format (editor, settings)
How can I set a role to sync (or not)?
- Log into the hub
- Go to settings
- Go to roles
- Edit the role in question
- Select if the role should be synched or not

- Select if the category should be synched or not
I don't see an option to sync X setting, what can I do?
Simply e-mail support or your CSM and they can implement this in the back end.
What happens if someone makes a change on the node?
For example, if an admin creates a category on the hub and sync it to all the nodes.
If the category is renamed or deleted on the node at a later time, the next time the hub syncs the category would be re-created or renamed back to the original. All changes must be made to the hub to be applied to the node(s).
