Badgify Comments - Vanilla Success
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p>You can assign custom badges to specific discussions in your <strong>Higher Logic Vanilla</strong> (<strong>Vanilla</strong>) community. Perhaps you want to be sure that the comments add value to the discussion.</p><p>⭐️ <strong>EXAMPLE</strong>: A comment such as "I agree" doesn't demonstrate any real "engagement" with the discussion, so you might feel that it doesn't warrant a badge!</p><p>If you prefer that your Admins review user comments before awarding badges, you can enable the <strong>Award Manually</strong> toggle, located in your Vanilla Dashboard under <strong>Moderation > Requests > Badge Requests</strong>.</p><div class="embedExternal embedImage display-large float-none"> <div class="embedExternal-content"> <a class="embedImage-link" href="https://us.v-cdn.net/6030677/uploads/ANBS1ZPRPIO9/award-manually-toggle.png" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener ugc" target="_blank"> <img class="embedImage-img" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6030677/uploads/ANBS1ZPRPIO9/award-manually-toggle.png" alt="Award Manually toggle.png" height="387" width="842" loading="lazy" data-display-size="large" data-float="none"></img></a> </div> </div> <p>With this enabled, a <em>Badge Request that includes the user's comment and the date</em>, will be sent for Admin review and approval, instead of automatically awarding a badge to the user.</p> </article> </main>
