Overview
Invisibility Cloak is an addon that allows you to hide your public forum from the prying eyes of search engines and bots while you set it up.
This is particularly useful if you want to be able to view as guest (typically for for theming and ux testing), but do not want search engines or robots to crawl.
It will set all content to noindex, noarchive.
Robots.txt
When Invisibility cloak is enabled, yourcommunity.yoursite.com/robots.txt will only contain:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
Invisible or Private?
If you are looking to hide your community from all guests, not just search engines and bots you should consider Private Communities instead.
Availability
Invisibility Cloak is available at all plan levels, but must be enabled by Vanilla Staff.
Simply contact your Account Exec, CSM or Vanilla Support to enable it for you.
