Our multilingual plugin (allows users to change the interface of the community, but does not translate any User Generated Content (UGC). Good for bilingual communities where the main content will be in English (or another main language) but users may want to see the menu items in their local language.
Users must choose the language option in the footer at this time, there is no detection of browser or computer language.
This plugin will not translate user generated content, only Vanilla Navigation elements:
Notice in the screenshot above, the user content appears in English but the menu items are translated.
Note: this option only appears to logged in users, and will not apply to guests. Once users set their multilingual preference, it will be retained each time they log in until they change it themselves.
You can enable this by going to your Dashboard, then Settings, then Addons and toggling it on.
Next, you will need to enable some languages to use with it. To do so, go to the Dashboard, and select the Locales option from the left hand side:
Simply toggle on any languages you would like to use with the plugin.
