Where can I ask questions and submit feedback?
We've added an Analytics Beta category to our Product Discussions area for you to submit your feedback and to ask for help. As we continue working on Analytics Dashboard Beta, we're here, happy to help, and eager to get your feedback.
Will historic data be preserved and accessible with Analytics Dashboard Beta?
Absolutely! This is exclusively a front-end update. We are using the same analytics provider and backend, so all of your historic data is preserved and available to you in the out-of-the-box and custom Dashboards in Analytics Dashboard Beta.
Why can't I see page views and visits for some users?
For users in the EU, our Analytics cookie is automatically anonymized, meaning we're not tracking page view and page visit data for these users.
- You will see these users listed as @anonymous when grouping page view data by username.
- Page visits also use the page view Data Source and are similarly affected.
I'm not seeing some Data Sources or options. Can you help?

As we continue working on Analytics Dashboard Beta, we plan to introduce additional Data Sources, so your feedback is welcome!
Who can view and edit Analytics Dashboards?
- Users who have the
Analytics > Data > Manage permission can create and edit custom Dashboards. - Users who have the
Analytics > Data > View permission can view all of the out-of-the-box Dashboards and any custom Dashboards that were created by themselves or other team members.
Can I customize the out-of-the-box Dashboards?
No, you cannot make any changes to the out-of-the-box (OOTB) Dashboards. These are system, default Dashboards that are locked for editing in order to preserve/protect them.
Copy OOB Dashboards
You can, however, copy an OOTB Dashboard and then edit it in order to customize it for your community; this preserves the original OOB Dashboard while making it available for customers.

Notes
- When you copy an OOB Dashboard you have to give it a new name.
- Copied OOB Dashboards are accessible under the Dashboards dropdown (in the left navigation), not under Analytics.
Can I export analytics data?
Yes, you can export .CSV files of chart data when viewing Analytics Dashboards.
🛑 IMPORTANT: In order to export user data, you must belong to a Role that has the Garden > Exports > Manage permission.
