Your Higher Logic Vanilla (Vanilla) community includes a community-wide Activity page that shows all recent activity from users across your entire Vanilla community. In this article, you'll learn more about this page, and how to access it.
📝 NOTE: If you'd like to focus on the activity of a specific user, you can view it from their profile. To learn more about user profiles, check out this article.
📝 NOTE: If the community Activity page and profile activity list aren't a good fit for your Vanilla community, you can contact Vanilla Support to have them turned off.
Required permissions
There are two permissions associated with the community Activity page and user profile activity list; users must belong to Roles with these permissions to perform the associated action.
Garden
> Activity
> View
to access the community- and user-based Activity pages.Garden
> Activity
> Delete
to delete activity listings on either page.

Community Activity page
The community Activity page is a "one-stop shop" of all activity across your Vanilla community, making it easy to keep tabs on what's happening.

Access community Activity page
In the Quick Links sidebar, click Activity.
Community Activity page overview
On the resulting page, you can see the following information:
- New members who have joined
- Updated profile pictures
- Earned/given Badges, Ranks, and Roles
- Updated Statuses
- Leaderboards (this week/all time community users, etc.)
If you have the required permissions (outlined in the Required permissions section above), you can also:
- write a comment that will be visible to everyone with the required permission;
- click between the Moderator Activity and Administrator Activity links at the top right to view just that specific activity;
- and click the X for a listing to delete it.
