Hey folks,

I wrote about breaking down silos just over a year ago. In that post, I was specifically talking about a product team. I mentioned how important it is to bring facts and data to help other teams understand the importance of the community.

Now, one of my customers wants to use their data to break down silos across their entire organization - at all-hands meetings. For example, they'd like to spur friendly competition between regional groups - which region has the most new members, and who can bump up new signups? Things like that.

Does anyone else do this? If yes, what stories do you tell? If not, do you have any ideas about what data we could use to help get different teams more interested in the community?
