Surveying your Community

I'm ready to start surveying my community and asking my users about what content they are enjoying and what they want more of…

Somebody stop me if this is not the right strategy to try and increase consumption or engagement on the platform. My end goal is singular in that I'm wanting to give the content that really matters to my members.

Are there other indicators that I can learn about that don't require my survey? If I should survey, what do those questions look like? Do my members even know what they want?

Help. lol

    Firstly, working to ensure your community is providing the best value to your users is always a great idea! I'm a big fan of using surveys or polls for this purpose, and you can even offer to have some short one on one or group conversations with your users if you want to take it a step further.

    I would also recommend that you use your analytics, in particular consider what discussions / articles are getting the most page views, and what terms are being searched the most.
