We use Vanilla for Community. I have a question regarding the analytics. I was reading the https://success.vanillaforums.com/kb/articles/1502-analytics-terminology Here it is mentioned * Discussions, Questions, Polls, Ideas, or Events are types of posts. * Comments and Answers are also types of posts but are considered "follow-up content" (reply) to a post. If that is the case, then why on our "Posting" analytics page, Posts by type pie chart doesnt include all the types? including questions etc. ? The pie chart only includes Comment add or Discussion Add. I know I can see the questions added and answered on Q&A tab but if they are counted as posts, shouldnt they be inluded in posts by type? Or is there a way I can edit my graph and make this information visible ?

Hey @arihant

The grouping of "Type" is just showing "top level post" versus "comment", but it includes all posts. Even though it says "Discussion Add", this could be a new post created as a Discussion, Question, Idea, etc.

If you're looking to see how many are individual post types, use the grouping of Post Type versus just Type! 🙂

In this case, the "Null" is the comment count as comments aren't a Post Type, they're a comment. Does that make sense?

If you're looking to see how many are individual post types, use the grouping of Post Type versus just Type! 🙂

In this case, the "Null" is the comment count as comments aren't a Post Type, they're a comment. Does that make sense?
