Anyone else seeing a weird spike in "Other" views?

Hi broader Community folks,

We submitted a Support ticket about this but Support wasn't sure what this meant either, so thought I'd ask here to see if this change is unique to us or is happening across other forums.

We're seeing a big spike in "Other" views when we look at views by Type. It started in March and suddenly grew a lot from May onwards.

Thoughts?

@Genevieve P When you're grouping Pageview data by User Device Type “Other” traffic represents visits that don’t match standard device categories like Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet. I've looked into this a bit more and this can sometimes include automated services that index or crawl community content (for example, for search purposes).

The spike you're seeing does reflect real requests hitting the site — but they’re not the same as end-user page views.
