Hiya,
"Discussion Status" has suddenly appeared in our Moderation charts as of the first week in February.
I have to assume it's not changing an Idea Status, but "Resolving" a post? Is that correct?
Thanks! Genevieve
Hey @Genevieve P I'm going to answer your question PLUS show my work as a super fun bonus as I know you are a super user and might find my thinking interesting here (if not, scroll on down to the TLDR at the bottom 😹)
So whenever I am troubleshooting niche analytics like these, I usually start by filtering to the thing I'm curious about:
Then, I add a BUNCHA things to the Group By field - I might remove these after, but it usually helps my investigation 🕵️♀️
This gives me additional info around what kinds of things might be included in post status, and if page through (or cheat and download an CSV and use a =UNIQUE formula in excel to get a list) I'm going to find the following post statuses:
Unresolved Resolved
Unanswered Answered Accepted Rejected
Collecting Insights Being Considered
None
(This is just an example from this community from the last week, we'd see more if it was a longer timeframe, such as additional ideation statuses)
TLDR:
This can including resolving/unresolving, Q&A statuses as well as ideation statuses, but they are filterable so you can really create your own adventure and focus in on the parameters that are most useful to you or filter out the ones you don't care about using the "Post Status" parameter :)
Thanks @Shauna!
You are correct, I do like seeing behind the curtain and I should have thought to break it down like this as well.
It looks like starting in Early Feb this was a new metric being tracked, yes? In line with CMD?
This is actually so great - to see how many manual actions my Mods take on a weekly/monthly basis (e.g. how many of the "No"s do they have to click to put things back as Questions)
Really valuable information once broken down!
Thanks again.
Genevieve
@Shauna I think the metrics for Resolved/Unresolved are backwards.
I expect @Georgie44 Resolved the amount showing in the yellow bars, but the text says "Unresolved".
Any chance the nomenclature is off?
Quick note that I am looking into this!
Hey @Genevieve P I wanted to let you know that we have not forgotten about this and that we are still activley looking into what may be going on here. I will send you over an email in the ticket itself once more information is available. Thank you for your continued patience!
Thanks Michael! :)
