Right in time for a new year of tracking your community's success, we've got some great analytics improvements for you.
Firstly, we've improved our analytics for Search by adding UTM parameters to both our search page and quick search results. UTM parameters are tags added to the end of a URL to help track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns or, in this case, user interactions with search results.
By using UTM parameters, you can track and analyze the performance of your search page and better understand how users are interacting with your search results. This data can be used to better understand your member's user experience, and guide your content creation plan to meet their needs.
Additionally, we've improved our Bar Chart configuration options to give you more flexibility. You can now choose your X axis data from any of the "Group by" options available:
This will allow you to get more granular results and better understand who's interacting with what content.
Also be sure you check out our updated Data Sources for Custom Analytics Charts docs!
If you've tried out either of these new analytics features we would love to hear about it. Please share your thoughts below!
