Best practice for a one time email notification?

Hi all,

My community has an important announcement to make and, for the first time in our community's history, we would like our members to receive an email notification ONLY FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.

Is there a way to reach all community members via email for this use case?

I've explored:

- Editing default notifications, but this would only send an email to new members as far as I understand.

- Email digests, but as this is a one-time thing, it seems like a bit of a hassle.

Can anyone share their experiences or best learned practices?
