I'm curious to hear how you all manage announcements that are specific to your users vs announcements that are open to the public? Here is our use case:
We have one category that we've used mainly for announcements. Members are not able to post there except our staff, mods, and admins. Now that we are working towards making our community semi-public, we are hoping to make this category visible, however, some of the announcements we've shared there are more relevant to our members. I've moved some of those announcements to a different category that is restricted to members only but the category I moved it to is not meant for announcements.
Would you just create a separate category for these internal announcements? Since the public announcements are also relevant to our members, how would you distinguish the two for our members?
