We soft-launched our Community site earlier this month and am curious as to what workflows, strategies, and tactics everyone has used - successfully or unsuccessfully.
I appreciate this Community & @Heather Wendt

What are some of the easier ways to encourage engagement?
Engagements drives engagement: thank posters for their questions, thank members for providing answers, ask the OP to select which answer was most helpful and mark it as correct.
What areas tend to be more difficult?
Communities start with "how-to" questions and graduating from technical questions to tactical can be difficult. Hold events that showcase members, invite members or SMEs to write high-level blogs, publish a monthly Community Spotlight blog highlighting a member.
How have you improved your customer/community engagement?
Participate and follow-up so members know you are listening and can be counted on. Bring in SMEs from Product, Support, or even the CEO to engage members.
Cheers,
Toby
