Here's a tip. Take a new look at the Analytics section of your Vanilla Dashboard if you haven't for a while. Our product team is geeking out on building tools for gathering, organizing, and displaying your visitor data. They're really having fun. And my tip to you is, jump in and start having fun too. Don't be stressed out: be calm, cool, and collected.
Calm. You won't break anything or screw up reports you have come to rely on. Create a new Analytics Dashboard to experiment with. If you don't like it, delete it and start again.
Cool. Choose one of our cool graphical representations. Sometimes you might want to see one big isolated statistic, like how many "Helpful" votes on our KB did we get? And you might also want to see a graph of traffic to a specific category.
Collected. Put them all together to tell a story. You can drag to resize and position any of your graphs.
Arrange them to for easy comparison.
I am not going to get bogged down in the details of all the other features like duplicating graphs, or changing the time parameters, or downloading the results of a graph in CSV format. I just recommend jumping right in and discovering it for yourself. Don't worry, you can't break a thing.
