Are threaded (indented) discussions available?

Good day everyone,
In longer discussions with multiple participants, it makes things easier to follow when you can reply to a particular poster and the location of your reply is based on who you reply to rather than when you replied in the discussion.
Is the "Quote" feature the best way to do this?

    Hey @Tmetcalf ! You ask a great question and it is super exciting that we ARE getting some impressive threaded discussion features in the near future! Saw a demo earlier this week and I am very much looking forward to not only having clearer discussions and comments but the options we will have with how it operates :) In the meantime, the quote feature is the best way to move forward with helping clarify whether you are responding to the original post or a comment in the thread…

    @Shauna @Heather Wendt Do either of you have a date for when the threaded discussions will be available in prod? We are about ready to launch Layout Editor and would like to do it all at the same time, if possible. Thanks!

    @HollyR there are a few last features we wanted to add in before recommending folks get it on prod (signatures, bulk selection of comments, etc) that we are just finishing up now. I am waiting on the precise release, but it will be either Dec or Jan! I'll tag you with more precise details when we make that post :)
