Custom dashboards - Set filters at a dashboard level

What do I want to do? I want to be able define certain roles for all charts on the page.

Why do I want to do this? As is, I can set a filter, but I as the builder have to go in and set in on each chart I place. This is great, but leaves room for user error and ads some time. I want to be able to filter dashboards so I can create dashboards for specific business owners either by category or role so that the internal people can view dashboards specific to them.

It's not a big deal. It adds very little time to add them per block, and once they are built it's just refining them :) but I could see it being helpful!

Dashboard Filters are in the works! Before end of year we'll be adding the ability to quickly filter and entire dashboard:

Oh so, on the out of the box dashboards? Yes, that will be great for admins! I remember this from the call.

Will we be able to pre-define a filter for the custom dashboards? The desire is from making easy , tangible no step dashboards for business owners. Like I said, it's not a big thing, since you can do it chart by chart :)

@Amanda Petersen You will have these filtering options on all Dashboards, our OOTB set, and your custom made dashboards.

Quick update on our Dashboard filters. We had originally communicated Category and Subcommunity Dashboard filters would be available with 2021.025. While we made a good amount of progress on these features, we weren't quite satisfied with them in team for roll out. We'll take some time to polish things and aim to release these filters in early January.
