Secret Message for the Original Poster?

Hi all,

We're looking for a way to add a service account "comment" to a post that:

* Appears/sends after a Question has had no response after X amount of time
* Only displays for the original poster* OR displays for everyone, but does not make the question "answered"

I know we can set up an automation rule to send an email, but we'd like to keep the content in the Community, either as a Direct Message or preferably as a note on the post itself.

I know that the AI Suggested Answers only appears after X amount of time, and only shows for the OP. This is essentially what we want! Just without the links to the suggested answers (since for us this wasn't working).

We'll look into the MCP - was hoping there may be an out-of-the-box solution for this.

I may also advise the team to copy/paste content as a service account and select "no" under the comment so the question is still "unanswered" but the user receives a response.

Hey @Genevieve P - thanks for your question!

This is a really interesting use case… I think it would be a great idea for a new automation rule, but it will probably also be possible to do with the MCP if your company will be open to using it?
