We recently launched our community and now that we're one month in it's time for some activity recap, like a digest or Newsletter.
At the moment, I prefer to curate the content myself rather than relaying on the Digest feature. With that in mind I was mainly contemplating two options:
- A community post that lives on a category built just for that, where everyone is following by default and receiving the notifications —> great to get engagement directly on the community
- A third-party email, in my case Husbpot —> looks better and it might have a better open rate than an automated notification email from the Community.
Since we're just getting started I was thinking of a monthly cadence, rather than weekly.
Curious to hear what's working for you? Do you keep it on the Community, use a third-partly tool or maybe a combination of both?
