How to remove the "rejected answer" label to a comment?

Hello there,

I'm wondering if there is a way that we could change this label to something else or remove it completely. We really like the new feature where accepted answers get separated from the rest but for our type of our community we would prefer to use some other label for the "rejected answers" or only show the accepted answers tab.

I know we can change the title to the tab but the label still appears as a tag in the user's comment. Can this be removed?

Just a note here because this concerned me when we enabled this as well - "Rejected" only shows for Mods + Admins. This tag isn't visible to your members at all. It's a way for your team to see that someone has marked it as "no".

This means the language isn't public. (Test in Incognito mode or by spoofing a member, tough). Because of this we left it in our forum.

I see what you mean, and you are right, the tag doesn't show up when I spoof in as another member which is exactly what we want.

On another note, I did notice that nothing really happens when the member clicks on "no". The question is still there and nothing changes so I'm not sure why the "no" option appears to members who are not admins/mods if they don't get any cue or notification that their answer to "Did this answer the question" was "received". Is this how is intended to work or am I running into a bug?

This is intentional! :)

If the op clicks "no" on all the comments in a thread, then that Question moves back into the "Unanswered" list since none of the answers helped.

The "Did this help?" question then disappears for the OP since they've responded to it. Reminder that only the OP & Moderators can even see that question on the thread. Other users looking at that post won't see the question at all.

I think what is happening, when I tested this in staging, is that the question is not disappearing when the OP responds to it as "no" only when they respond "yes". 🤔 Maybe is a bug?

It looks like I created a discussion not a question. I'm trying to change the post type to question but it's not letting me.

This is not expected - if you can capture a screen recording I would send that to Support to have them double check. :)
