Automating ‘More on this topic…’ suggestions

Hi Vanilla friends,

I’m currently working on improving our knowledge base setup on our Community. As part of this, I’m testing how User Guides from WithSecure would look on our community.

In our current user guides (which do not sit on our community), we end each article with a ‘More on this topic…’ section that highlights three related content pieces. Right now, I’m manually selecting and writing these suggestions, but I’d love to automate this process.

Has anyone here implemented a widget or tool that can automatically generate these ‘More on this topic…’ suggestions? If so, could you share your experience and any recommendations on how to set this up?

    I'm curious: where is the relevance of these related articles being pulled from? Is it per category? Are page views involved?

    Hey @LiselotteP the related articles currently is based on word matching, but I'll be frank, it wasn't the most accurate feature. For the future, we are considering leveraging AI to display content relevant to the page the user is on (and taking in to account who the user is in terms of interest and persona). I don't have a timeline for this at the moment, but I can say it's actively being discussed.
