The “pageviews” for example, are a true total of how many times the page was accessed, regardless if it was accessed by a human or by a bot— in other terms, this stat is also counting web crawlers into the total of "page views”.</p><p>The Advanced Analytics (a paid option powered by Keen.io) is intended as more of an indication of how the health of the community — this is more sophisticated and filters out web crawlers and bots in order to identify true human users.</p><p>The users in the dashboard reflect the number of new registrants during the time period that you select. Note that this is a different metric than the “active users” in the Advanced Analytics refer to the number of users who logged into the community for the date specified (regardless of if they were a user for years or are a new registrant).</p><h2 data-id="advanced-analytics">Advanced Analytics</h2><p>You will see an overview of your community’s analytics by clicking on the ‘Dashboard’ tab. For more in-depth data, click on the ‘Analytics’ tab. (The advanced analytics seen in this tab are available on certain subscription plans only.)</p><p>The site overview will present you with the following:</p><ul><li>Number of page views generated for the time period</li><li>Number of new users that have joined the community for the time period</li><li>Number of new discussions that have been created for the time period</li><li>Number of new comments that have been created for the time period</li></ul><p>Using the tabs at the top, you can view daily or monthly stats.
